Description :
The novel “Love in a Fallen City” links Eileen Chang with the designated location of the landmark as the story took place in the Repulse Bay Hotel.
In the novel, a huge retaining wall is mentioned. It is the second most important landmark through out the story next only to the hotel. The various shapes of the wall represent the changes of the relationship between the characters of the novel. When the wall breaks down, they finally realize the importance of each other and re-unite at the end.

Based on the observation, people are looking for a place to REST rather than a new place for studying, eating or working as they are satisfied by the regular facilities provided by the school. There are lacks of reason to stay in campus as the campus unable to provide facilities for other function. They are looking for something DIFFERENT, new, a place to get away from school and study for a while. This place should enable people to GATHER around, CHATTING, RELAXING and HAVING FUN together.

Vinia - Incense Burner

Description :

The concept of Vinia focuses on worshipping the beauty of nature and the relationship with humanity.
Incense is actually a composed of aromatic material which will release smoke when burned. It mainly appears as a combination of different natural materials in powder form and release different kinds of smell when it burn. Which means incense comes from the nature, then an incense burner becomes a media for us to connect with the nature though smell and sense. Vinia made good use with the specific twisted form of vine and combine with the smoke from the incense, providing a great harmony scenario for user to admire the true beauty of nature.
