Description :
The novel “Love in a Fallen City” links Eileen Chang with the designated location of the landmark as the story took place in the Repulse Bay Hotel.
In the novel, a huge retaining wall is mentioned. It is the second most important landmark through out the story next only to the hotel. The various shapes of the wall represent the changes of the relationship between the characters of the novel. When the wall breaks down, they finally realize the importance of each other and re-unite at the end.



ERSA - A place to relax and have fun

They are looking for something DIFFERENT, new, a place to get away from school and study for a while. This place should enable people to GATHER around, CHATTING, RELAXING and HAVING FUN together.

Vinia - Incense Burner

Description :
The concept of Vinia focuses on worshipping the beauty of nature and the relationship with humanity.
Incense is actually a composed of aromatic material which will release smoke when burned. It mainly appears as a combination of different natural materials in powder form and release different kinds of smell when it burn. Which means incense comes from the nature, then an incense burner becomes a media for us to connect with the nature though smell and sense. Vinia made good use with the specific twisted form of vine and combine with the smoke from the incense, providing a great harmony scenario for user to admire the true beauty of nature.

Description :
Hawkers were thriving and prosperous in the past century. And they are still part of the street culture in Hong Kong, including their smell, street cries and cooking demonstration. However, the government started to restrictions included safety considerations, lack of hygiene, poor image and the occupation of common areas. The number of hawkers decreased rapidly. The characteristics of hawkers only remain in our memories. Leaving behind on the modern street are the same soulless pattern of shops repeated everywhere.
We believe few people wish to see Hong Kong’s local color fades. However, there is no persuasive solution to let the government support the hawkers. For this reason, The main aim is to maintain the contribution of hawkers in Hong Kong’s street culture. In order to achieve this, improving the operating environment of hawkers in Hong Kong and reduce the damaging effects on the environment and pedestrians during the operation of hawkers are required.

Therefore, we would like to design a hand mixer which presents the feeling of young, cute and fresh.

Hoi Tin Tong mainly sells herbal jelly as Chinese traditional medicine. Also, it developed other series like Herbal drink Series and Chinese Herbal Gummy Series. All products it sells benefits to consumer’s health. The reason that we picked Hoi Tin Tong is that we found that major of its consumer are elder people. But actually, people nowadays are willing to spend money on healthy products, Hoi Tin Tong has its potential to attract different level of consumer like younger person or children. Therefore we want to help Hoi Tin Tong to develop a new image.

Rechargeable Lamp - Gift for Lamborghini Reventón owner

Design a form for a rechargeable lap which the form must match the design language of Lamborghini Reventón. The internal volume should be big enough to hold 3 AA size rechargeable batteries, 4-12 LED and mounting PCB and a flat base for mounting 1 socket and switch PCB. The model should be made up of no more than 3 pieces that fit together at straight parting line. The draft angle of pieces should be 2° minimum.

With the change of the world, it becomes a very serious problem in this generation. But, why there’s teenager problem in each generation and what’s wrong with them? Is there any solution to solve the problem? In this project, I try to discover what the teenager problem is nowadays and found out is there any solution of the problem. Afterward, as a designer, how can I tell the problem and solution to the people.

Lee Tung Street was once a famous center of publishing Chinese wedding invitation card. But as the government retrieve the street, the bustling street is forever a history. Such retrieval created  great noise to the public about the awareness of heritage conservation.
This album tries to record the changes of the street though the comparison of old photos and current situation. Such shooting method enable viewers to identify the differents of bustling past and desolate present. And how sorrowful that we realize memories can now only be recorded though photos in a photos, where is our local history?
